Free Downloads Guide - Easy steps to start downloading

There are many ways to access our media archive. As a "guest" you'll be able to:

•   download the free files from the Free Downloads Section
•   take a look at all hosted premium files on the media archive (4.000+ gigabytes)

As a "guest" you won't be able to download files from the Premium Downloads Section. Please read the Premium Downloads Guide to find out how you can sign up for the premium service.

1. Set up the download client

•   Download the free preconfigured FTP-Client (FileZilla for Windows systems)

This program is free and doesn't need to be installed. FileZilla for Mac / Linux systems.

•   Unzip FileZilla.zip and open FileZilla.exe     (Screenshot: FTP-Client)
•   Click "Edit" - "Import" and choose 'settings.xml' from the unzipped archive.
•   Press "Ctrl + S" to open the Site Manager     (Screenshot: Site Manager)
•   Choose "Free Downloads" from "My Sites"     (Screenshot: "My Sites")
•   Click on "Connect" to login to the download archive     (Screenshot: "Free DLs")

What is an FTP-Client?
FTP stands for "File Transfer Protocol". An FTP-Client is a program to connect to FTP-Servers on the internet. It's a common protocol which is used by many browsers. Using an FTP-Client - instead of a standard browser - makes it possible to resume aborted downloads and manage your own download lists / queues.

2. Set up your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox...)

Note for iExplorer 6 Users: The FTP-Plugin for Microsofts Internet Explorer has some bugs. If you like to use a browser to connect to our download archive, we recommend you to download and install the free Firefox Browser.

•   Enter ftp://ftp.anime-browser.com in the addressbar of your browser
•   If you're asked for a username and password enter: abcabc

3. Set up your favorite FTP-Client / Download Manager

If you like to set up your favorite download program, you've to use the following data for the configuration:

-   Server / Host: ftp.anime-browser.com
-   Port: 21
-   Username & Password: abcabc
